Swan & Bramble - Romantic Vase

Slight second: Please note that the red on the side with the standing swan has slightly
split in the firing (see pictures). This doesn't affect the piece and is just a part of the process.

A large oval Romantic Vase with a cut-out top for flower arranging. The top and bottom are decorated with a slip-trailed detail. It features 'ribbon' style decorative handles.
The decorative leaves, clover and flowers are decorated with a resist technique, which gives a lovely graphic feel, and contrasts nicely with the hand-painted drawings of the Swan and thorn.
This piece is inspired by an antique Wedgwood jug design.

Please note: Wipe clean and never place into a dishwasher.

Tin Glazed Ceramics
Inspired and informed by traditional ceramic shapes, but slab build to create a modern take on a traditional vessel. Each piece is handmade and bisque fired. They are then dipped in a Tin glaze with each one painted upon using oxides and pigments. These loose paintings upon the ceramics, make each piece an original work of art. Each piece is illustrated with a drawing inspired by places, historical and childhood stories.
