A medium sized ceramic platter, with a hand cut detailed edge.
There is a slip trailed, relief pattern on the rim, and in the centre of the platter. The centre wavy oval is encasing a painting of a Lion. The main body of the platter is decorated with a Rutile oxide.
There are Tulips, Dahlias and Oak leaves painted upon the top of the platter in a orange underglaze and Silver Lustre.

The backside where the foot ring is looks as though it has cracked, but it has not! It is just where the join of the ring is.

Please note: This is a decorative piece, therefore please wash with luke warm water and wipe clean. Never place into a dishwasher.

They are then dipped in a Tin glaze with each one painted upon using oxides and pigments. These loose paintings upon the ceramics, make each piece an original work of art. Each piece is illustrated with a drawing inspired by places, historical and childhood stories.
