A Romantic plate with a hand-cut decorative border and slip-trailed edge. The decorative thistles, leaves, letters, and Canary Rose shapes are decorated with a resist technique, which gives a lovely graphic feel, and contrasts nicely with the hand-painted drawings of the Canary and thorn.
